This project was an introduction to Day of the Dead for 6th grade Spanish students.
Expectations:
Day 1 ~ we read & talked about Day of the Dead and created a Frayer Model as a class.
Day 2 ~ The students looked over the Voicethread with a partner. They submitted questions in a Moodle submission. We went over the questions in class.
The students had homework: share the Voicethread with someone in their family. They students had to explain how and why Spanish speaking families celebrate Day of the Dead. The student's family member had to comment - either on the class blog or on paper.
